Product Scrolling Free Text Templates

Manage text templates used for scrolling free-text fields in product forms.

• Product Scrolling Free Text Templates can be created for the following forms.
• Right-click a scrolling text box. If product scrolling free text templates have been defined, the System Templates menu appears. Select the template.
• The following fields are display-only:
  • Form Identifier - displays the form system identifier.
  • Form Description - displays the form name.

   Go to: RADplus Utilities > Modeling > Product Scrolling Free Text Templates
2. In the Scrolling Text Templates table, select Add New Item.
3. In the Scrolling Text Table Column field, select the scrolling text data column.
4. In the Template Description field, enter the description to display in the scrolling text template right-click menu.
5. In the Template Contents field, enter the scrolling text template contents.
6. In the Keywords field, select keywords. The keywords display in the Template Contents field.
7. Select View Sample to display a template sample screen.
8. If appropriate, select Deactivate Template. Deactivated templates do not display in right-click System Templates menus.
9. In the All Users or Specific User/User Roles field:
   • Select All to allow all  users to use the template. 
   • Choose Specific to allow select users, or user roles to use the template (Template Users, and Template User Roles sections).
10. Go to the Template Users Section.
11. In the Template Users Table select Add New Item.
12. In the User field, enter the user name, click Enter.
13. Click Submit.
