Problem Code Definition
You can manage problem codes using the Problem Code Definition form in myAvatar.
Edit Problem Code
- Go to: RADplus Utilities > Dictionary and Table Maintenance > Problem Code Definition
- In the Add/Edit Problem Code field, select Edit Existing Code.
- In the Existing Problem Code field, enter the code ID, select Enter.
Add Problem Code
- Go to: RADplus Utilities > Dictionary and Table Maintenance > Problem Code Definition
- In the Add/Edit Problem Code field, select Add New Code.
- In the New Problem Code field, enter the problem code ID.
- In the Problem Code Description field, enter the description.
- In the Active field:
- Select Yes if the problem code is active.
- Select No to deactivate the code.
- In the Syndromic Surveillance Reporting field, select Yes if the code should be included in early preparedness reporting data.
- In the Use With Primary Care field, select Yes if this problem code will be used with the Primary Care application.
- In the Add to Problem List When Submitted from Primary Care field, select Yes if the problem code will be added to the problem list when that code is submitted in the Primary Care application.
- In the Associated Problem Code field, enter the problem code, click Enter to select.
- In the 'ARRA Measures Reporting' fields, select the codes that will be used in ARRA reporting.
- In the 'SNOMED' fields, enter information to be included as part of the client's electronic medical record.
