Manage ICD9 codes.

  1. In the Add/Edit Diagnosis Code field:

    • To create a new code, select Add New Code.
      In the New Diagnosis Code field, enter the diagnosis code.
    • To edit a code, select Edit Existing Code.
      In the Existing Diagnosis Code field, enter the diagnosis code, and select.
  2. In the ICD9 Diagnosis Code Description field:
    • For new codes, enter the ICD9 code description, using uppercase letters.
    • For existing codes, edit the ICD9 code description, using uppercase letters.
  3. In the Active field:
    • Select Yes to make the code active.
    • Select No to inactivate the code.
  4. In the 837 Inbound DSM Cross Reference Code field, specify the DSM cross reference code for the ICD9 code to use in 837 inbound processing.
  5. Click Submit ICD9 Diagnosis Code.
  6. Click Print ICD9 Table to generate the ICD9 Diagnosis Table report, which details information in the ICD9 Diagnosis table.
