Hosted Server Migration

This form allows you to perform data validation when migrating from a self-hosted server to a Netsmart-hosted server.

CDR Tables

When migrating environments, you will need to compare CDR tables between the source and target environments to identify which tables match and which do not.

Export CDR Table Names

To export the list of tables:

  1. From the source environment, click the Export CDR table list button.
  2. Save the generated text file to your local machine.

Compare CDR Table Names

To perform the comparison check:

  1. From the target environment, click the Import CDR table list button.
  2. Use the browse window to locate and upload the exported text file saved from the source environment.
  3. The New Table Schemas field displays the CDR tables that match with the current system, along with those that were not found.
  4. Click the Export table comparison to CSV button to export the results of the comparison.

Modeling Web Service

Test the modeling web service connectivity on the new system.

  • Click the Test Modeling Web Service button to check if the server can communicate with the other servers in the environment via web service.
    • If the test is successful, a message will display.
    • If the environment configurations are incorrect, the connection will fail and an error indicating this will display in the Test Results field.

SQL Views

Test and validate all SQL views.

  • Click the Check SQL Views button to check that all of the views defined on the current system can be queried.
    • If the check is successful, a message will display.
    • If the any query fails validation, it will be indicated in the SQL View Status field.

Export Results to File

  • Click the Export Results button to export all results from the test on this form to one text file.
