Force Terminal Logoff

Force all users currently operating myAvatar to log off.

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > System Administration > Force Terminal Logoff
  2. In the Logoff Message field, enter the message that will display to all users.
  3. In the Number of Minutes Until Logoff field, enter the number of minutes users will be given before they will be logged off.
  4. In the Number of Minutes Until New Login is Allowed field, enter the number of minutes after logoff that users will need to wait before they can log back into myAvatar .
  5. In the Exclude Current User field, select whether or not your own session should be an exception to the logoff. If Yes, you will be able to log off and back in again before the wait period (specified in Number of Minutes Until New Login) has expired.
  6. Click the Force All Users To Logoff button to display the logoff message to all users. The logoff message displays on users' screens after the defined number of minutes.
  7. Click the Allow All Users to Login button after the logoff to override the wait period and enable all users to log back in immediately.
