Submitter Identification Definition - PM
Specify Submitter Primary Identification (1000A-NM1) information.

- This information is based on guarantor, program, service code, and client combination for a specific date range.
Prerequisites:

The 'Enable Submitter Identification Definition' registry setting must be set to 'Y'.

In the Add or Edit field, choose whether to add or edit a submitter identification definition.

In the Guarantor field, enter the guarantor information, and click the Search button. Select the guarantor and click Ok.

In the Program field, select the appropriate treatment program.

Click the Display Submitter Identification Definitions button to generate a report of the existing definitions for the current system.

If editing an existing submitter identification definition, click the Select Existing Submitter Identification Definition button to display a window containing the existing definitions for the selected guarantor/program combination. Select the desired definition from the window and click Ok.

In the Active or Inactive field, designate whether the definition should be active or not. New definitions are active by default.

In the Service Code field, select the service code or codes where the Submitter Identification Definition will apply.

In the Client field, select a client to associate with the definition, if applicable.

Set an Effective Date and Expiration Date for the definition.

In the Submitter Identification Code Qualifier field, enter a qualifier code for the definition. This code can be a 1-2 digit number.

In the Submitter Identification Number field, enter the submitter identification number. This is a numeric code, containing up to 13 digits.
