Hide Excluded Problems From Problem List

This article describes a 2024 planned feature delivered through the myAvatar Product Roadmap. This information is subject to change.

What are we doing?

myAvatar treatment plans will be configurable to hide problems that should be excluded from the plan.

Why are we doing it?

When a problem has a status that indicates it should not be included in a treatment plan, the problem is still visible in the plan but the user will receive an error when attempting to add that problem to the plan. As a result, the problem list displayed on a treatment plan may have a number of problems displayed that are not relevant to the current plan. This enhancement will allow these problems to be optionally suppressed from the problem list display within the treatment plan page.

How are we doing it?

A treatment plan-specific registry setting will be added to enable an administrator to choose whether to suppress problems from the plan that include a status that is configured to exclude from the treatment plan.

Note that the 'Exclude from treatment plan' setting on the Status dictionary is preexisting to prevent using the problem in the plan, but the problem remains visible on the problem list on the plan page.
