Avatar eMAR > General > Settings

Use this registry setting to specify whether a Medication ID field will be available in Avatar eMAR.

  • Y - Yes
  • N - No
  • R - Required

For Avatar eMAR to accept scanned bar codes for medications, this registry setting must be set to either 'Y' (Yes) or 'R' (Required) or the Enable Medication and Quantity Checking registry setting must be set to either '1' or '3.' The Support Medication ID registry setting will be ignored if the registry setting Enable Medication and Quantity Checking is set to '1' or '3,' in which case the Medication ID field in the Administration Event dialog will be visible and required.

RADplus 2010 or a later version is required to use this feature.
