Patient Education Prompting - Registry Setting

Avatar eMAR > General > Settings

Use this registry setting to indicate whether Avatar eMAR should prompt users as to whether patient education has been performed for each order.

  • Y - Display the Patient Education screen before administering the order.
  • N - Suppress the display of the Patient Education screen before administration of the order.

If this feature is activated, the Patient Education screen displays prior to each order Administration Event, until such time as a user indicates that patient education has been performed.
