Enable Medication And Quantity Checking - Registry Setting

Avatar eMAR > General > Settings

Use this registry setting to enable medication and/or quantity checking when recording administrations on the Administration Event dialog.

Available settings:

  • 0 - Disable both medication and quantity checking
  • 1 - Enable medication checking only
  • 2 - Enable quantity checking only
  • 3 - Enable both medication and quantity checking

For Avatar eMAR to accept scanned bar codes for medications, this registry setting must be set to either '1' or '3,' or the Support Medication ID registry setting must be set to either 'Y' (Yes) or 'R' (Required). If this registry setting is set to either '1' or '3,' the Support Medication ID registry setting is ignored.

RADPlus 2010 or a later version is required to use this feature.
