Two-Factor Authentication Process Points - Registry Setting

RADplus > System Security > User Definition

Use this registry setting to indicate where Two-Factor Authentication is checked (for those users who are designated to use Two-Factor Authentication).

Two-Factor Authentication is enabled via the Two-Factor Authentication Method registry setting.

Type one or more of the following values separated by an '&':

"1" = myAvatar login (Two-Factor Token must be present when logging in)

"2" = myAvatar login and use of myAvatar (session will lock if Two-Factor Token is removed)

"3" = Avatar OE for filing pharmacy/medication orders
When enabled, users defined as Staff Members (User Definition form) who have the Use Staff Member As Ordering Practitioner set to Yes (Order Entry User Definition form) will not be allowed to change this field to a practitioner other than themselves.
Also, Two-Factor Authentication will be bypassed when orders are discontinued as the result of a discharge or the rejection of an order by the pharmacy.

"4" = Avatar eMAR for filing transactions for pharmacy/medication orders
