Avatar PM > System Maintenance > Guarantors/Payors > Inhibit Liability Distribution By

This registry setting only applies to Avatar installments with a Single Server Environment.
For Multiple Server Environments, please see Inhibit Liability - determinations.

'Y' enables the following:

  • The 'Non-Medicaid Certified Bed Stay' selection in the 'Inhibit Liability Distribution By' field (Guarantors/Payors form).

Liability distribution to the guarantor will be prevented if is not in a Medicaid certified bed during for the date of service.

'N' disables the above functionality.
