Include Taxonomy Code - Registry Setting

'Y' enables the Taxonomy Code field in the following areas:

  • Categories/Taxonomy section of the Practitioner Enrollment form
  • Practitioner Enrollment (Brief) form
  • Practitioner Category form

The value entered in this field populates the Practitioner Taxonomy Code (837 Electronic Billing) field, in the Practitioner Numbers by Guarantor and Program form.

If no value is entered in the Practitioner Numbers by Guarantor and Program form for the guarantor and treatment program combination during bill creation, the value in the Practitioner Enrollment form will be used as the Practitioner Taxonomy Code.

    2420C-PRV-03 (4010 Only)

'N' disables the above field and the associated functionality.
