Enable Roll-Up Date Range Definition - Registry Setting

Avatar PM > Billing > Roll-Up Billing

'Y' enables the Date Range Of Definition field in the Roll-Up Services Definition form.

  • This field allows you to specify a date range that defines how component services will selected to be rolled-up.

  • The compile process will search backwards from the roll-up through date to find a component service and will roll it up along with all other component services rendered prior to it in the specified time frame.

When 'Y' is selected, roll-up service definitions associated to specific guarantors are ignored. Consequently, the roll-up does not occur and charges will not be picked up.

The following formats are supported by the Date Range Of Definition field:

  • Enter the number of days, followed by "D."
  • Enter the number of months, followed by "M."
  • For example:
If a date range of three days ("3D" entered in the Date Range Of Definition field), and the first component service was rendered on January 31, component services rendered on January 30 and January 29 will be included in the roll-up.
If the next service found by the compile was rendered on January 15, it will be rolled up only with component services rendered on January 14 and January 13.

This functionality will be bypassed if Same Date is selected in the Component Service Date Rules field (Roll-Up Services Definition form).

'N' disables the above field and functionality.

This registry setting must be set to 'N' in order for the Allow Roll-Up Rule Selection During Compile registry setting logic to work.
