Enable NCPDP Eligibility Verification Request - Registry Setting

The registry setting controls the following functionality:

  • Adds or removes the NCPDP Eligibility Verification (E1) Request form.
  • Enables the fields NCPDP Eligibility Verification (E1) Request Status and NCPDP Eligibility Verification (E1) Request Response in the financial eligibility forms.
  • Updates the extended attribute System Financial Class off of the dictionary element Financial Class to include the following values:
    • NCPDP - Other
    • NCPDP - Medicare Part D
       The E1 transaction set is limited to Medicare Part D guarantors only.

'2' enables the above functionality and causes the field Eligibility Verified in the Financial Eligibility and Cross Episode Financial Eligibility forms to update during the processing of the E1 request response. Eligibility Verified will not be updated in Family Financial Eligibility.

'1' enables the above functionality but does not cause the Eligibility Verified field to update based on the E1 response.

'0' disables all fields, forms and logic associated with the E1 transaction set.
