Enable Minimum Liability Assignment - Registry Setting

'Y' enables the Minimum Amount To Distribute Per Service, and Minimum Amount To Distribute Per Unit fields in the Service Fee/Cross Reference Maintenance form (Guarantor Definitions section).

If a value is entered in either of these fields, the following logic is distributed for the associated service code and guarantor:

  • If the calculated liability for a guarantor is less than the amount of the guarantor minimum liability assignment

The assigned minimum amount will distribute up to the total service fee, or remaining liability.

  • The service fee or remaining liability will not be adjusted to satisfy the guarantor minimum liability assignment.

Roll-Up Billing logic takes precedence over defined minimum liability assignments.

'N' disables the fields and the minimum liability logic.
