Enable HIPAA Version 5010 - Registry Setting

Avatar PM > Billing > Electronic Billing > All 837 Submissions

'Y' enables support for HIPAA version 5010 of the 837, and 270/271 bills.

  • The 'HIPAA Transaction Version' field is enabled in the Guarantors/Payors form.

This field associates guarantors with HIPAA 5010 billing.

  • The 'Enable Template Definition/ Customization in Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults' registry setting will be set to 'Y'.

'N' disables the above field and associated functionality.
