Enable Electronic HCFA-1500 Billing - Registry Setting

'Y' provides the following:

  • The Electronic HCFA-1500 section displays in the Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults form.

  • The HCFA-1500 format selection displays in the Billing Form field (Electronic Billing form).

  • The Responsibility Indicator (Electronic HCFA-1500 Only), Accident Hour (Electronic HCFA-1500 Only), Disability Type (Electronic HCFA-1500 Only), and External Cause Of Accident (Electronic HCFA-1500 Only) fields display in the HCFA-1500/837P Maintenance Screen form.

  • The SYSTEM.billing_elec_file SQL table displays in the User Role Definition form, and in the User Definition form (Forms and Tables section).

  • All elec_hcfa fields display in the SYSTEM.table_facility provider_numbers SQL table.

This registry setting affects all system codes.

'N' disables the above functionality.
