Enable Default Guarantor Assignment - Registry Setting

'Y' enables the Default Guarantor Assignment form.

A default guarantor can:

  • File a financial eligibility or cross episode financial eligibility record when an admission is filed in the Admission, Admission (Outpatient), Pre-Admit, or Back Dated Admission\Discharge forms.

  • Add a guarantor selection row in the Financial Eligibility, Cross Episode Financial Eligibility, or Family Financial Eligibility form when the form is opened.

Guarantor information populates and can be edited.

The guarantor must have a guarantor plan setup in the Guarantors/Payors form.
