Enable the 'Refused' selection in the Subscriber Assignment of Benefits field in financial eligibility forms.

Selecting Refused prevents liability distribution for the client guarantor.

  • 'RP' enables the 'Refused' selection.

  • 'RA' enables the 'Refused' selection.

Selecting Refused allows liability to distribute to the client guarantor.

Valid values must be entered in the 837 Medicare Assignment Code (CLM-07), and Assignment of Benefits Indicator (CLM-08) fields. Separate multiple values with '@'.
