Allow Spaces in Billing Name - Registry Setting

'Y' allows spaces in the 'Billing Name' field on the following forms:

  • UB-92/UB-04/837I Billing Maintenance Screen, HCFA-1500/837P Maintenance Screen, and Dental Billing Maintenance Screen

The 'Billing Name' field will override the client name on the HCFA-1500, UB-04, and ADA J515 paper bills.

  • If the client relationship to subscriber is 'Self' (Dictionary Update form (Client file - data element 247), the billing name will override the Subscriber Name (2010BA-NM1) on 837 bills.

  • The value in the 'Billing Name' field (HCFA-1500/837P Maintenance Screen form) will override the Member Name (2100A-NM1) in 834 files.

  • First name is processed first, then last name, then middle name. Commas separate entries.

For example, Last Name, First Name, Middle Name.

'N' disables this functionality.
