'Y' adds the Use Less Detailed Mapping fields to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th mapping pages of the MSO to Parent System Integration form. This selection also alters the logic used to find an episode of service in the parent application, and when automatically setting the end date of an authorization.

• If an episode is not found using the most detailed mapping available, a less detailed but also valid mapping will be used.

• Hierarchy is determined by the page number in the MSO to Parent System Integration Mapping form.

Mappings are attempted in order from highest to lowest to establish the hierarchy.

'N' removes the Use Less Detailed Mapping fields from the form and defaults the system to locating an episode of service using only the most detailed mapping found.
