Enable Contracting Provider Program - Registry Setting

Enter '2', '3', '4', '5', or '6' to enable the Contracting Provider Program field on the following forms:

  • Claim Processing (Service Detail section)
  • Fast Service Entry (Fast Service Detail section)
  • Service Authorization
  • Service Authorization (Unlimited Codes)
  • Provider Fee Definition

'2' will have additional functionality on the Service Authorization forms.

  • Once a service is claimed, the Contracting Provider Program field will be disabled.
  • If the current contracting provide program is blank or invalid, it will be populated with the contracting provider program filed with the service.
  • If services are not claimed for the authorization, the Contracting Provider Program field will be enabled.

'3' will have additional functionality on the Service Authorization forms:

  • Once a service is claimed the field will remain enabled.
  • A warning is produced if a contracting provider program is selected that has not been filed with the claimed services.

'4' will have the same functionality as '3' except that the Contracting Provider Program field will be required once a service is claimed on the authorization.

  • The Contracting Provider Program field will be required on the Claim Processing (Service Detail section), and the Fast Service Entry (Fast Service Detail section).

'5' will have the same functionality as '4' except that the Contracting Provider Program field will always be required once a service is claimed on the authorization.

'6' will have no additional logic that will affect service authorizations.

'1' disables the Contracting Provider Program field for these forms.
