This registry setting is found in the following locations:

'1' uses the current eligibility information.

'2' enables batch eligibility inquiry and response (270/271) processing, when the 837 Health Care Claim Institutional, or Professional form is filed.

 

'1' or '2' also enable the following:

The 'Do Not Use 271/834 Eligibility Information Through This Date' field on the Financial Eligibility, and Cross Episode Financial Eligibility forms.

The following fields: Real Time 270/271 Access Point, Validate Guarantor via Avatar Eligibility Tables, and Valid Financial Responsible Counties on the Guarantors/Payors form (270 / 271 / 834 Section).

Avatar PM must be the parent system.

'0' disables batch eligibility inquiry and response (270/271) processing, when the 837 Health Care Claim form is filed.
