'Y' requires that the practitioner and service have at least one discipline in common (Discipline field) in order to file a service or appointment.

  • Practitioner disciplines are set up in the Categories/Taxonomy section of the Practitioner Enrollment form.
  • Service code disciplines are set up in the Service Codes form, when the Include Discipline registry setting is enabled.

'N' disables this logic.
