'Y' enables the following:

The 'Maintenance Reason Code (834-2000-INS-04)' field is enabled in the Financial Eligibility, and Cross Episode Financial Eligibility forms (Guarantor Selection section).

  • The value selected in this field populates the 'Maintenance Reason Code (2000-INS-04)' field in an 834 submission.
  • This field is setup in the Dictionary Update form (Client file - data element 83410).

This dictionary has an extended dictionary data element:

83411 - Maintenance Type Code Override (834-2000-INS-03)

The value selected in this extended dictionary will populate the Maintenance Type Code (2000-INS-03) field in an 834 submission.

The 'Member Level Detail (2000-INS)' field is enabled in the Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults form (834 Submission section).

'N' disables the above fields.
