Enable HIPAA Version 5010 - Registry Setting

'Y' enables support for HIPAA version 5010 of the 837, and 270/271 bills.

  • The 'HIPAA Transaction Version' field is enabled in the Guarantors/Payors form. This field associates guarantors with HIPAA 5010 billing.
  • The 'Enable Template Definition/ Customization in Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults' registry setting will automatically be set to 'Y'.

Once this registry setting is enabled it cannot be disabled.
