Enable 270/271 Transaction Sets - Registry Setting

Avatar PM > Billing > Electronic Submissions > Eligibility Inquiry & Response (270/271)

'Y' enables the following:

  • Fields related to Health Care Eligibility Benefit Inquiry and Response (270/271) transaction sets will be added to the 'Guarantor/Program Billing Defaults', 'Guarantors/Payors', 'Add/Edit Service Codes' and financial eligibility forms.
  • The 'Eligibility Inquiry (270) Submission', 'Eligibility Response (271)', 'Eligibility Inquiry And Response (270/271) Report', and 'Eligibility Inquiry (270) Request' forms will be enabled under Billing/Electronic Submissions.

'N' disables all fields, forms, and logic associated with Health Care Eligibility Benefit Inquiry and Response (270/271) transaction sets.
