Edit Service Episode Number - Registry Setting

This registry setting adds the 'Episode Number (Edit)' field in the 'Edit Service Information' and 'Edit Service Information (Charge Fee Access)' forms.

The service episode number can be edited if the following is true:

  • No payments, adjustments, or transfers are posted against the service.
  • The new episode must be active for the date of service.
    The service date cannot be before the episode admission date, or after the episode discharge date.

Enter '1' to add the prompt to the form, and to allow the episode number to be edited for open services. The numbered episode that the service is switched to must also be active for the service date. (The service date cannot be prior to the admission date or after the discharge date of the episode.)

Enter '2' to allow episode number editing for closed/claimed services.

Enter '0' to remove the prompt and disable the functionality.
