'Y' enables the 'Take service charge into account when searching for services to post a payment/adjustment' field in the 835 Health Care Claim Payment/Advice form.

When services are selected to post payments or adjustments in an 835 file, this field compares the line item charge amount received in the SVC segment against the Avatar service charge.
