This registry setting determines whether the system is an Ambulatory or Hospital facility according to Meaningful Use requirements.

'A' indicates that the system is an Ambulatory facility and displays only ambulatory measures for selection on the ARRA Measures Reporting form.

  • The Incentive Program, Reporting Year, and Eligible Providers fields are enabled.
  • The Through Date, and Submission Method fields are disabled.

'H' indicates that the system is a Hospital facility and displays only hospital measures for selection on the ARRA Measures Reporting form.

  • The Through Date, and Submission Method fields are enabled.
  • The Decision To Admit Date, and Decision To Admit Time fields are enabled on the Admission, Admission (Outpatient), and Pre Admit forms.

 If this registry setting is blank, ARRA Measures reporting is disabled.​
