Incident Classification - Dictionary Value

Incident Classification is set up in the Dictionary Update form (Incident File - Data Element 10).

Populate this dictionary with values such as: Accident, Elopement, Assault, Suicide Attempt, etc.

This dictionary has an extended data element:

• 12 - Type Of Incident
  These relate back to the Incident Classification and can be things like: Fall, Overdose, Cutting, Fist Fight, Attach with Object, Food Allergy, etc. You can be as detailed as you want. This is used mainly for reporting to determine how many fights, allergic reactions, etc. have occurred.
