Marital Status - Dictionary Value

Marital Status is set up in the Dictionary Update form (Client file - data element 10).

Changing the marital status dictionary impacts the UB 92 billing file, form locator 16.

This dictionary has extended data elements:

  • 10020 - HL7 Code
    Select the HL7 code (for HL7-enabled applications).
  • 22000 - NRI Marital Status
    Select the marital status for NRI reporting.
  • 23000  - UB92 FL 16 - Marital Status
    Select the marital status to populate UB92 reporting (form locator 16).
  • 23000 - HL7 CDA Marital Status Value Set
  • 83401 - 834 Marital Status
    Select the marital status to populate 834 reporting.
  • 984 - Marital Status - CCD
