Void Observation Reason - Dictionary Value

Void Observation Reason is set up in Dictionary Update form (CWS file - data element 28021) of myAvatar CWS. 

Void Observation Reason is a user-defined dictionary that indicates why a clinician would void a charted observation on a client's record within Observer. 

Extended data element: 

• 28023 - Require Void Observation Reason (Other)
  • Select Yes if you require text entry in the Other Reason text field when a Void Observation Reason dictionary value is selected.
  • Select No if you want text entry to be optional in the Other Reason text field when a Void Observation Reason dictionary values is selected. 
  • If the extended data element for Void Observation Reason dictionary value is Not Currently Defined, then the text entry for the Other Reason text field is optional.
