Reportable SNOMED Lab Results - Dictionary Value

Reportable SNOMED Lab Results is set up in the Dictionary Update form (Results file - data element 1024).

This dictionary has an extended dictionary data element:

  • 1025 - Is SNOMED Reportable?
    (This value defaults to the appropriate value from the Reportable Conditions Mapping guide published by the government, but can be changed.)
    If Yes is selected, the SNOMED code is available for selection in the Export Health Information form.

This functionality was added to support the lab results transmission to public health agencies. Only SNOMED codes defined as Reportable will be picked up upon lab results file generation within the the Export Health information form.
