Reason Codes is set up in the Dictionary Update form (Order Entry Tabled Files - data element 504).

There are two extended dictionaries:

  • 507 - Require Reason Text With This Reason Code

Select Yes to make the Reason Text field required.

  • 511 - Include Pain Scale In myAvatar eMAR

Select Yes to display the pain scale in applications running myAvatar eMAR

Select Yes (Required) to display the pain scale, and make it required.
