Reaction Severity - Dictionary Value

Reaction Severity is set up in the Dictionary Update form (CWS file - data element 10003) of myAvatar CWS.

The dictionary itself cannot be edited. The following extended dictionary data elements can be edited:

  • 10023 - Reaction Severity Interface Code
    Select the severity level:
     When defined, these values are sent to RxConnect and allow allergies to be color coded based on classification.
    • MI - Mild
    • MO - Moderate
    • SV - Severe (allergies are colored red)
  • 10024 - Severity For Allergy Screening Filter
    Enter the reaction severity from a range. 1 is least severe, 9 is most severe. 
  • 80412 - SNOMED Code Reaction Severity
    Select the associated SNOMED code for the allergy reaction severity.
    • 255604002 - Mild
    • 371923003 - Mild to moderate
    • 6736007 - Moderate
    • 371924009 - Moderate to severe
    • 24484000 - Severe
    • 442452003 - Life threatening severity
    • 399166001 - Fatal
