Customize the Saved Signature Format
Avatar Signature version 5.0 adds the ability to customize the format of the saved signature image.
Details
- In previous versions of Avatar Signature, the signature captured on the Topaz tablet was centered and enlarged to fill the size of the signature control.
- Avatar Signature version 5.0 supports saving the signature in the same size and format as originally created on the Topaz tablet, as well as other justification formats.
Avatar Signature version 5.0 does not contain any changes or enhancements others than the ability to customize the size and justification of the saved signature; it is not necessary to upgrade to this version if you do not plan to use this feature.
Available Justification Formats
The following justification formats are available with Avatar Signature 5.0:
- 0 - Normal, no justification. Signature appears in the same size and format as originally created on the Topaz tablet.
- 1 - Justify and zoom signature (upper-left corner).
- 2 - Justify and zoom signature (upper-right corner).
- 3 - Justify and zoom signature (lower-right corner).
- 4 - Justify and zoom signature (lower-left corner).
- 5 - Justify and zoom signature (center of control).
The recommended formats are either 5 (the default) or 0 (to retain original signature characteristics).
How to Customize the Justification Format
The ability to customize the justification format requires that the SigPlus.ini file be located in the \Program Files\Netsmart directory for the user's profile. In Citrix/Terminal Services environments, this is the location that the user is mapped to on the server; all users who are mapped to this location will be affected by this setting. Otherwise, this will likely be located on the user's workstation and will need to be modified for each individual user.
If a SigPlus.ini file does not exist in \Program Files\Netsmart, one will need to be copied to this location; look in \Windows (or \Users\
Open the SigPlus.ini file in Notepad and, in the upper section of the file, add the following line exactly as shown (replacing "x" with the correct justification format from above):
