User File Import

Import multiple new users into myAvatar at one time. Existing users may also be edited using this Import tool. 

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > User Maintenance > User File Import
  2. Create a file containing the user information for import.
    Note:
    • You can use any Windows-based word processing program to create the text (.txt) file.
    • If you create the file in Microsoft Excel, you can save as a tab-delimited text file.
    • Use five tab-delimited (ASCII character 9) columns. Follow each column with a carriage return (ASCII character 13) and a line feed (ASCII character 10).
    • Use tabs for blank entries.
    • User descriptions can contain commas.
  3. Save the file to the server.
  4. Open the User File Import form, and click the Select User Import File button.
  5. Navigate to the file, and then click Open.
  6. Review the results in the User Import File Scan Results field.
    Result: If the file import has no errors, the Process User Import File button is enabled.
    Note: All errors must be corrected before the file can be posted. After correcting the file, it must be re-compiled.
  7. Click Process User Import File.
    Remember: The new user IDs must be entered the next time the user logs into myAvatar.

Separate multiple user roles with ‘&’.
