myAvatar Client configuration for Netsmart Telehealth

Learn how to configure clients in myAvatar for integration with Netsmart Telehealth.

  1. In myAvatar, search for Admission or go to Avatar PM > Client Management > Admission.
    Note: Be sure to select the appropriate admission form for either inpatient or outpatient admissions.
  2. Search for and Select Client, then select the appropriate episode record, if applicable.
  3. In the Update Client Data form, ensure the following fields are completed and accurate. These are used for notifications and alerts from Netsmart Telehealth.
    • Client Name - This must be in the format LAST,FIRST (no space).
    • Cell Phone - This is the phone number where the client receives mobile alerts (optional).
    • Email Address - This is the email address where the client receives authentication messages and other notifications. This is required for clients to attend live telehealth sessions.
  4. Submit the Admission form to save the changes.
