Table Column Types

A list of the data element (table column) types that are available in the modeling system.

The values listed in the Type of Column field will vary depending on the myAvatar applications that are installed.

  • The only numeric field that allows a negative number is a dollar amount field type. And you can use this in combination with integer and decimal fields for calculations. The precision of the result is determined by the field the result is placed in.

Data Element Examples:

  • Addition to Caseload:

  • Adjustment Code Lookup

  • Caseload fields

  • Database audit trail
This data is copied to the 'RADplus_audit_database_tables' SQL table.

  • Date
Includes calendar functionality, Today and Yesterday buttons, Date add (T+xx or T-xx), and scrolling arrows for adjusting the date.
    Acceptable input formats are:
    • DDMM (current year) DDMMYY (specific year)
    • DD/MM/YYYY
    • D/M/YY
    • DD-MM-YYYY
    • D-M-YY
  • Decimal
    Permits whole or decimal numbers.
  • Diagnosis
  • Diagnosis - IMO Mapped Search
This search works with ICD-10 code lookups.
  • Dictionary data elements.
Dictionary values are modified in the Dictionary Update form.

    • Single response dictionary (unlocked dictionary).

    • Single response dictionary (locked dictionary).
User-defined locked dictionaries can be edited once the dictionary is unlocked (Table Definition form).

    • Multiple response data elements (unlocked dictionary)

    • Multiple response data elements (locked dictionary)

  • Dollar Amount
    Permits the use of decimals.

  • Draft/Final data element (Avatar CWS)
The functionality is available when workflow user notification and requirement lists are defined.
The User List Management, and Notification Users forms define available users.

  • Draft/Final (Document Routing) data element.
This allows Document Routing to use Draft/Final functionality in a modeled form. Any table aliases will be cleared when this field is set back to Draft from Final, and a new alias filed every time the field is set from Draft to Final.
Once a Draft/Final column is added to a table, it cannot be removed from that table or any associated forms. A new envelope must be remodeled, omitting the column.

  • Draft/Pending Approval/Final data element (CWS only).
This functionality is available when workflow user notification and requirement lists are defined.
Once a Draft/Pending Approval/Final column is added to a table, it cannot be removed from that table or any associated forms. A new envelope must be remodeled, omitting the column.
