Send Message To All Terminals
Send a message to all computers running in a myAvatar namespace. This form (Send Message to All Terminals) can be used to send messages across multiple system codes, if multiple system code functionality is enabled for the facility. When a user clicks OK, the messages are removed. If a user is offline, they will see the message the next time they log into myAvatar.
Banner messages display in the Message Center of the Home View starting on a defined date (Effective Date field), to an end date (Expiration Date field).

Go to: RADplus Utilities > System Security > System Administration > Send Message To All Terminals - In the Message field, enter the message text.
- In the Message Type field:
- Select Banner to display the message in the Messages section of the Home View.
- Select Pop-Up to display the message in a pop-up dialog.
- Select Both to display the message in the Messages section, and in a pop-up dialog.
- In the Send Pop-Up to Logged In Users Only field:
- Select Yes to display the message to users currently logged into myAvatar .
- Select No to send the message to all users. Users that are not logged in will see the message when they log into myAvatar .
- In the Effective Date field, enter the start date for Banner messages. This date will display in the Messages section.
- In the Send Message To field:
- Select Current Root System Code to send the message to the root system code the user is logged into.
- Select All Root System Codes to send the message to all root system codes.
- If appropriate, in the Expiration Date field, enter the date the banner message expires. The message will not display in the Messages section after this date.
- Click the Send Message To All Terminals button.
Note: Guardiant tracks every keystroke for any user who is logged into the application and can be used to retrieve previously sent messages from the flight recorder.

Delete Message

In the Select Message To Delete field, select the message.
The Message Content field shows the message text.
Banners messages can be deleted, pop-up messages close when the user clicks Ok. -
Click Delete Message.
The message will be removed from the Messages section.

Messages sent to workstations using Send Message to All Terminals, are not retained or stored in any table. After the message is closed it is permanently deleted. The following tables can be used to track user access to this form:
