Data Element Help Message Definition

Create help messages and associate them with data elements. In myAvatar, if desired, HTML code can be used to format those help messages.

  • Opening this form for a user-defined help message locks the envelope.
  • When updating help messages for user-defined data elements:
    • Help messages can be updated in the build environment (system code) the envelope was created. In most cases this is the BUILD system code.
    • Updating a help message updates all help messages associated with the data element for that namespace.
    • If a help message is updated, the envelope cannot be exported.
