Connect/Disconnect Application Namespace

Manage the link between a child application and a parent application

RADplus Utilities > Database Management

For example, manage the link between myAvatar PM (parent application), and myAvatar MSO (child application).

All other users (besides the user running this form) must log out of myAvatar .

  1. In the Application field, select the child application associated with the server.

  2. In the Application Namespace field, select the child application namespace.

  3. A compatibility check is run for the namespace. The results display in the myAvatar Namespace Scan Results field.
    If any warnings are associated with the namespace connection, they display in this field.

  4. If appropriate, click Print Application Namespace Scan Results to generate a report of information in the Application Namespace Scan Results field.

  5. In the Connect or Disconnect field:

  • Select Connect/Maintain Connection/Repair Connection to connect a new application namespace, or maintain a connected application namespace.

  • Select Disconnect to remove the connection between a child application and a namespace.

  1. Click Submit.

Facilities with CDR enabled

A clinical data repository (CDR) collects client information from a health care facility's information sources.

  • In the Clinical Data Repository (CDR) Link field:
    Select Yes to create a CDR link between the namespace and the parent application.
    Select No if no link is to be created between the namespace and parent application. If a CDR link exists, select No to remove that link.
