Assign a view to a user or user role in myAvatar NX

System administrators use the NX View Definition form to assign a view to a user or user role in myAvatar NX. One benefit of using the NX View Definition form is that while user roles are being set up in myAvatar NX implementations, the user and user role views in myAvatar are not affected.

Also, certain myAvatar NX-specific functionality is implemented in NX View Definition such as selecting Quick Actions and assigning multiple Console Views.

In NX View Definition:

  • If a user is assigned to a user role and has NX View Definition applied to them as a user, their user’s NX View Definition setup overrides their user role(s)’s NX View Definition setup.
  • To revert the user back to user role settings, delete the user's NX View Definition.
  • If a user is assigned to more than one user role, the first (alphabetically) assigned user role’s Views is applied.

Prerequisite:

  • myAvatar NX

  1. Go to Avatar PM > RADplus Utilities > Widget Management > NX View Definition.
