Compliance rule examples

A few basic examples:

  • Selecting “Yes” in the “Is the Client Suicidal” field, for a risk assessment can trigger a compliance indicator that will require a form or series of forms to be required in a crisis program.
  • If a client is 18 or older, a compliance indicator can be defined to require a LOCUS, or NOMS to be filed in a set time period.
For example, 30 days after admission.

Compliance rules can be set for specific programs.

  • If a facility must file a psychiatric evaluation every three months for all clients, a different one every 30 days for clients admitted to a crisis program, two compliance rules can be defined to fullfill these requirements.
  • If a client is a female, a rule can be defined to require a Women’s Health Assessment to be filed at least once.
  • If the state requires a form to be submitted every six months, a compliance rule can be defined for this requirement.

Compliance Rules can be set with the following

  • At least once per Episode.
Requires one submission per episode the client is admitted.
  • At least once.
Requires one submission, no matter how many episodes the client is admitted.
  • Recurring with a specific pattern.
For example: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly after Admission.

Specific months, as well as the day of the month can be selected.
  • Within a specific number of days.
For example, Once every 90 days.
