Define compliance rule prerequisites.

  • Compliance rule prerequisites are comparison rules. The fields on Compliance Rule Prerequisites section add specific requirements for the compliance rule.
  • These requirements apply to the form selected in the Compliance Rule Definition section.
  • The available selections in the Field field are determined by the selected form.
  • The ‘Comparison’ fields define how the compliance prerequisite is triggered, according to a defined value and its comparison.
  1. In the Compliance Rule Prerequisites table, click Add.
  2. In the Field field, select the field.
  3. In the Type of Comparison field, select the field comparison.
  4. If the Field type is Program, you have the option to base the prerequisite off of an extended dictionary element in your system by selecting Yes in the Base Prerequisite Off Extended Dictionary field.
    If Yes, select which dictionary element in the Extended Dictionary field.
  5. In the Comparison Value field, enter the value.
  6. In the Comparison Value (Dictionary) field, select the dictionary to compare.
