Block Client Chart
Use the Block Client Chart form to prevent users from accessing a client's chart. This blocks access to all episodes as well as preventing the client from displaying on widgets and To-Do items.
- To filter out blocked clients from modeled widgets, the widgets SQL query needs to be joined to the blocked clients table "SYSTEM".RADplus_blocked_clients.
- Go to RADplus Utilities > System Security > System Administration > Block Client Chart.
- Select List Blocked Clients to generate a report on clients whose charts have been blocked.
- On the left, select the Blocked Clients section.
- In the Blocked Clients table, click Add New Item.
- In the Select Client field, enter the client name, click Enter to select. Only one entry per client is allowed.
- In the Block User Roles field:
Note: If user roles are blocked, any users associated with those user roles will not have access to the client chart. This includes new users added to the system if assigned a blocked user role.- Select Yes - All to prevent all user roles from accessing the client chart.
- Select Yes - Selected to prevent only specific user roles from accessing the client chart.
- In the Selected User Roles field, choose which user roles to block.
- Select No to allow all users to access to the client chart.
- Select Yes - All EXCEPT Selected to select the user roles that should not be blocked.
- In the Selected User Roles field, choose which user roles NOT to block.
- In the Block Users field:

- In the Allow Emergency Access for User/User Role field:
Note: This process will only work if the Emergency Access form has the Enable Emergency Access field set to Yes. Otherwise, all users and user roles will still be blocked.- Select Yes to allow the user or user role to have access to the client chart with the condition that they account for their reason for accessing it.
- When the blocked client is accessed, a message displays confirming that the user would like to continue.
- Enter the reason for accessing the client and click OK.
- The client is added to the user's caseload in the My Clients section of the Home View. The client remains in the user's caseload until that user logs off myAvatar.
- Select No to prevent access to the client chart completely.
- Select Yes to allow the user or user role to have access to the client chart with the condition that they account for their reason for accessing it.
- In the Comments field, enter comments associated with the blocked client chart.
- Click Submit.
