Basic Troubleshooting

Dynamic Forms

  • Click Test Dynamic Forms. to execute the test and ensure that dynamic forms are working.
    • If the pop-up displays "Test Successful", the dynamic forms are working.

Router Timeouts

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > Database Management > Basic Troubleshooting
  2. To test router timeouts, press Submit and leave this myAvatar session open.
This simulates a test situation where a form might take a very long time to file, ensuring it completes and returns to the home screen without hanging or producing any errors.
  3. RADplus 2018 Update 75 introduced a new field Duration (Minutes).  It defaults to 840 minutes - 14 hours. You can set this to a shorter time period if desired.
  4. The "Submitting" screen will display and run for the time period specified.
Please make sure the currently logged-in user does not have an idle timeout set before submitting (User Timeout field on the User Definition form).
  5. When successful, the test completes and returns to the Home screen.
  6. If the connection fails, the form will not close, and there will be no error message.  You should have the Java Console Log enabled to see if there is a connection error.
