ProviderConnect Password Information

The ProviderConnect architecture employs a standard authentication methodology, consisting of username and password, to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the environment. The user will be locked out if attempting an incorrect password five times within 15 minutes. Passwords are encrypted and include the following rules:

Password cannot be blank.
Password cannot be "PASSWORD."
Password length must be greater than or equal to 6 characters.
Password cannot be same as username.
Password cannot be same as username backwards.
Password cannot be same as old password.
